Overview

Non-metallic ligation for laparoscopic procedures.

AVIORA polymer ligating clips provide secure vessel and duct ligation without metallic imaging artefact on post-operative MRI or CT. The positive-lock ratchet mechanism closes in one direction only — the clip cannot reopen once applied. Six clips per cartridge reduce instrument exchange frequency. Available in three sizes to accommodate vessel diameters from small cystic duct to larger vascular pedicles.

Intended for laparoscopic vessel, duct and tissue ligation in general, colorectal and urological surgery.

Intended Use
Laparoscopic cholecystectomy — cystic duct and artery
Appendectomy — mesoappendix vessels
Colectomy — vascular pedicle ligation
Nephrectomy — renal vessels and ureter
Any laparoscopic vessel or duct requiring clip ligation
Key Features

Design & engineering details.

MRI-safe polymer material
No metallic component — eliminates post-operative MRI and CT imaging artefact.
Positive-lock ratchet
One-way closure mechanism. Audible and tactile click confirms secure ligation. Cannot reopen.
6 clips per cartridge
Multi-fire design. Reduces the number of instrument exchanges during the procedure.
Three sizes
Medium, Medium-Large and Large to match vessel diameter from small ducts to larger pedicles.
